Each week is $400 GST inclusive and includes the instruction and supplies for the course. We have Chester Dexter, who has worked on shows such as Hercules and the X-Files helping to teach both weeks.

Monday 2nd to Friday 9th October 2017 - 9am to 4pm each day

CABLE CONTROLLED PUPPET - Maximum 20 Students $400

During this week students will work in groups of 5 to build a cable controlled creature, which will be used to create a short film.  We will cover a variety of techniques using foam, latex, armature wires, and other "found" items to ensure that you or your child can create a similar effect in your own home with easy to find objects.

STOP MOTION ANIMATION - Maximum 20 Students $400

During this week students will create creatures from armature wire, foam, latex, and "found" objects to use in a short stop motion film at the end of the week.  Students will also build small sets using everyday objects such as paper models, cardboard sets, and other easy to find materials so they can replicate the same sort of work at home.  We will discuss things such as framerates, compositing software, and easy ways to make simple, and inexpensive movies of their very own.
